The BRC Global Standard for Food Safety is a worldwide recognised certification that began in the UK. It was developed to assist the food industry meet legislative requirements of the EU General Product Safety Directive and the UK Food Safety Act. Since inception, the Standard (which it is known as) has received worldwide recognition with over 20,000 certified sites globally.

At Prigmore Haulage Ltd we have always taken pride in our quality of service. We have carried many food ingredients such as seasonings and flavourings for many years and wanted to have something more official. In February 2020 we achieved a grade A BRC accreditation in the transport of ambient bulk food ingredients. As a hazardous goods company we could also carry flavourings under BRC that also fall under ADR regulations, ensuring a safe journey for your products. We champian these practices to ensure all food deliveries are conducted to a high quality and of safe standard.
