We have over 20 years’ experience in the transport industry. This gives us the best knowledge to serve our customers in a highly competitive environment.

 

Starting in 2000 as a sole tradership by Patricia Prigmore, the company began with a van delivering hazardous loads for local customers. Demand increased and Patricia needed to grow to accommodate this, with the purchase of lorries starting at 7.5T and growing to 18T.

In 2009, Patricia's youngest son Richard joined the company as a van driver and over the next few years took his HGV license's. Growing up in the haulage environment allowed him to have the knowledge and skills to help his father who was the Transport Manager at this time.

In 2014 the company went limited and Prigmore Haulage was born. In 2015, Richards wife Katherine joined the business to help Patricia in the office and to work in sales. With the help of her Son and Daughter-In-Law the company went from strength to strength. Richard took over as transport manager and Katherine continued on growth via sales and quality. The company grew from 6 lorries to over 13 in a short space of time, developed a training facility and a DGSA consultancy.

In 2023 Patricia finally retired selling her shares to Explore Plant and Transport Solutions. With Richard and Katherine as part owners and directors the company is still very much a family run company with the support from Explore to allow the company to grow stronger.

We invest in the ongoing training and career development of our staff hoping they feel part of our 'Prigmore Family' and have a culture committed to our service to remain customer focused at all times. To this day the companies ethos still remains the same from its early days; we strive for great customer service from office to driver. We still work with many of our customers from back in 2000 never forgetting the routes from just a van showing our core values still matter.
